The Shoe
Civilion is performance injection footwear for the High Art of Recreation.
Built for movement, water, travel, leisure, hospitality, sport, resort life, boat decks, golf courses, city streets, and everything in between. It is not a sneaker. It is not a clog. It is not a sandal pretending to be useful.
Civilion is a new category of molded footwear: almost weightless, waterproof, form-fitting, flexible, sustainable, and finished with a patented injection rubber grip outsole for real-world traction.
One shoe. Many talents.
Civilion combines the ease of injected footwear with the attitude, utility, and finish of a premium lifestyle shoe.
Every pair is built around:
- Patented injection footwear materialization
- Waterproof upper construction
- Three-piece engineered build
- Patented injection rubber anti-slip outsole
- Bio-based sustainable materials
- PFAS-free formulation
- Antimicrobial material properties
- Form-fitting comfort
- Barefoot-like natural movement
- Almost weightless feel at approximately 5 ounces
- Grip built for wet decks, golf courses, hospitality, travel, and everyday motion
It is the shoe for the Professional Leisure-ist: polished enough to arrive, functional enough to move, and comfortable enough to forget you are wearing it.
Yes. Civilion footwear is made with waterproof injected materials designed to handle water, weather, resort life, boat decks, poolside, grass, travel, and everyday use.
They are made to get wet, rinse clean, dry fast, and keep moving.
The High Art of Recreation does not stop because the ground is damp.
Unmatched comfort is the baseline.
Civilion shoes are engineered to be soft, flexible, form-fitting, and almost weightless. They move naturally with the foot, giving you a barefoot-like feel while still providing structure, protection, and grip.
The material gently forms to your foot over time, creating a custom-feeling fit without the break-in drama.
Yes. Civilion shoes weigh approximately 5 ounces, depending on size and model.
They are almost weightless by design. Easy to pack. Easy to wear. Easy to move in all day.
Less bulk. More motion.
Yes. Civilion is designed to flex, form, and move with your natural foot movement.
The feel is close to barefoot freedom, but with more protection, support, grip, and polish. It is built for modern movement: walking, standing, traveling, working, boating, golfing, and living without changing shoes every three hours.
Civilion shoes are designed for comfort, water use, and all-day movement. The molded construction and engineered design help manage moisture and airflow better than traditional closed footwear.
They are not trying to be a running mesh sneaker. They are built to be water-friendly, low-maintenance, lightweight, and easy to wear.
Yes. Civilion footwear is made without animal leather.
Fit & Sizing
Civilion shoes are designed to feel form-fitting, secure, and comfortable.
They should feel close to the foot without being restrictive. The material will naturally settle and form with wear, giving the shoe a more personalized feel over time.
A good fit should feel easy, secure, and natural.
Visit our Size Guide for detailed sizing information, including US, Canadian, UK, and European conversions where applicable.
For most customers, we recommend ordering your usual size. If you are between sizes, have a wider foot, or prefer a more relaxed fit, we recommend sizing up.
For most customers, we recommend ordering your usual size.
If you are between sizes, have a wider foot, or prefer a more relaxed fit, consider sizing up. If you prefer a snug, more contoured fit, stay true to size.
Yes. Civilion shoes are available in both men's and women's size ranges.
The shoe itself is the same Civilion platform, built for movement, water, comfort, and the High Art of Recreation. The sizing simply adjusts by range, so customers can select the size that fits them best.
Civilion shoes are not designed to stretch like leather or fabric, but the injected material does adapt slightly to your foot with wear.
They become more personal over time. Not sloppy. Not loose. Just yours.
Civilion's form-fitting material can accommodate many foot shapes comfortably.
If you have a wide foot or are between sizes, we recommend sizing up for a more relaxed fit.
That is personal.
Civilion can be worn barefoot or with socks, depending on your style, setting, and preference. Barefoot for boat decks, poolside, resort life, and summer movement. Socks for travel, cooler weather, or a more styled look.
Professional Leisure-ist rules apply: wear them your way.
Very little.
Civilion shoes are designed to feel comfortable from the first wear. Like any form-fitting shoe, they may feel even better after a few wears as the material settles with your foot.
Performance & Use
Yes. Civilion is a great golf shoe because it brings your feet alive.
The lightweight injected construction moves naturally with your foot, creating a closer connection to the ground and a more responsive feel through your stance, walk, and swing. The form-fitting upper keeps the shoe secure without feeling stiff, while the patented injection rubber grip outsole gives you traction across grass, pathways, clubhouse floors, and changing course conditions.
Civilion is built for the full golf experience: walking the course, hitting balls, moving naturally, standing comfortably, and heading straight from the fairway to the clubhouse without changing shoes.
Performance without looking overbuilt. Comfort without looking orthopedic. Golf, elevated.

Our patented injection rubber grip outsole is designed for anti-slip traction and confident movement on wet surfaces, making Civilion a strong choice for boating, marina life, dockside wear, sailing, resorts, and coastal living.
As with any footwear, no outsole can guarantee slip-proof performance in every condition, but Civilion is engineered for grip, water, flexibility, and control.

A shoe with manners. Finally.
Care & Cleaning
Civilions are hose-friendly, rinse-friendly, and built for real life.
For everyday cleaning, simply rinse them with water or hose them off after use. For a deeper clean, use mild soap and a soft cloth or brush.
Civilions are also machine washable on a gentle cycle with cold water.
Do not use bleach, harsh chemicals, high heat, or the dryer. Always air dry at room temperature.
Civilions love the sun when they are on your feet. Not so much when they are baking without you.
Like many molded performance materials, extended exposure to direct heat, hot cars, heaters, or intense sun when the shoes are not being worn may affect their shape.
Wear them in the heat. Move in them. Live in them. Just do not leave them cooking on the dock, dashboard, or back seat.
Civilions are already hot enough.
Yes. Civilions are machine washable on a gentle cycle with cold water.
For best results, wash gently, avoid harsh detergents, and air dry at room temperature. Do not put them in the dryer.
Air dry them at room temperature.
Do not place them in a dryer, near direct high heat, or against a heater. Excessive heat can affect the shape and material.
Yes. They were built for use.
Grass, sand, water, boat decks, patios, resort paths, and life in motion are all part of the program. Rinse them off and keep going.
Civilion shoes are made with antimicrobial, waterproof injected materials that are easy to rinse, wash, and keep fresh.
Unlike traditional fabric footwear that can absorb moisture and trap odor, Civilion is designed for water, movement, and low-maintenance wear. After use, simply rinse with water, use mild soap when needed, and let them air dry fully.
Built for bare feet, wet decks, long days, and repeat wear.
Sustainability
Yes. Sustainability is built into the material and manufacturing philosophy of Civilion.
Civilion uses sustainable bio-based materials and avoids PFAS and other unnecessary chemical compounds. Our injected construction is designed with material efficiency, durability, and lower-waste production in mind.
We believe performance, design, and responsibility should exist in the same object.
Yes. Civilion footwear is made without PFAS.
We believe what you wear should perform without relying on unnecessary chemical compounds.
Civilion shoes are built from advanced injected footwear materials using sustainable bio-based compounds. The result is a waterproof, flexible, almost weightless shoe that forms to the foot and stands up to real-world use.
The outsole features patented injection rubber grip technology for traction and stability across multiple environments.
Civilion is built with a more responsible product life cycle in mind, and we are actively developing future recycling and end-of-life programs as infrastructure and material streams evolve.
But sustainability is not only about what happens at the end. It starts with making a better product people actually keep wearing.
Civilion is built to last, built to move, and built to serve more than one purpose. One pair can go from travel to golf, boat to resort, work to weekend, poolside to dinner, and daily life in between. Less overconsumption. More function. More wear. More life from one object.
The most sustainable shoe is the one that earns its place and stays in rotation.
PFAS are often used in consumer products for water resistance, but Civilion believes performance should not require unnecessary chemical baggage.
Our shoes are waterproof by material design, not by relying on PFAS-based surface treatments.

Brand & Lifestyle
The High Art of Recreation is the Civilion point of view.
It is movement without panic. Style without trying too hard. Performance without looking clinical. Leisure with standards.
It is the belief that what you wear on your feet should move from boat to bar, course to club, lobby to launch, without asking permission.
A Professional Leisure-ist is someone who knows how to move through life with taste, confidence, utility, and ease.
They are not lazy. They are not overdressed. They are not underprepared.
They understand that recreation is not an escape from life. Done properly, it is a discipline.
Civilion is their footwear.
Civilion provides lightweight comfort, natural movement, water-friendly utility, and form-fitting ease. While some people may enjoy wearing Civilion after activity, we do not position it only as a recovery shoe.
Civilion is broader than recovery.
It is for motion, leisure, work, water, travel, and arrival.
No. And yes. And better.
Civilion borrows utility from several categories but belongs fully to none of them.
It has the ease of a water shoe, the comfort of a recovery shoe, the polish of a lifestyle shoe, the grip of performance footwear, and the freedom of something entirely new.
Category of one.
